A Simple Weekly System for Your Business Social Media

You do not need to post every day. You need a simple routine you can keep. Here is a one-week system any small business can follow.

A weekly plan: plan on Monday, create on Tuesday, post on Wednesday and Friday, reply on Thursday, review on Saturday

Most businesses post when they remember, then go quiet for weeks. Customers notice. A page that looks abandoned makes people wonder if you are still open.

You do not need to post every day. You need a routine you can keep.

The weekly system

  • Monday, plan: choose two or three posts for the week. Write one line about each.
  • Tuesday, create: take the photos and write the captions. Do it all in one sitting.
  • Wednesday, post: publish the first post.
  • Thursday, reply: answer every comment and message from the week.
  • Friday, post: publish the second post.
  • Saturday, review: look at what got the most reactions, and do more of that next week.

That is about two hours a week.

What to post

Not sure what to share? Rotate these:

  • Your work: finished jobs, new stock, before and after.
  • Your people: the team, a customer you served, a day at the shop.
  • Answers: prices, delivery areas, opening hours, how to order.
  • Proof: a short review or thank-you message from a customer.
Real photos of real work beat polished graphics every time.

Three rules that matter most

  • Reply fast. A quick reply wins more customers than a perfect post.
  • Make contact easy. Put your WhatsApp number and location in your bio.
  • Point people somewhere. Social media brings attention. Your website is where people check you are real and get in touch.
